Chapter Photos (2008 - 2012)

The pictures that follow give a glimpse of just a fraction of the events and activities that our busy chapter members have been involved with over the past few years.  Feel free to take a moment to see where our WMA adventures have taken us!

Jenny and new OH-2 member Tania, both formerly of MCRD PI Plt 4033 (grad 15 Nov 91) meet up again for the first time in almost 19 years. It's a small Corps after all! (May 2010)

Ohio Women Marines gather to celebrate the 234th Marine Corps Birthday in Akron, OH, Nov. 10, 2009, at the Navy/Marine Corps Reserve Center. Keeping with tradition, Diane read Gen Lejeune's birthday message and then played Marine Corps Commandant Gen Conway's video birthday message. And, of course, there was cake! Thanks, Diane! Semper Fidelis to all our Marines, past and present, and may those who paid the ultimate sacrifice rest in peace with our sincerest gratitude!

Elva holds onto the yummy Marine Corps birthday cake as Jenny gets her obligatory second bite. It's a long-standing tradition for Marines everywhere to celebrate their anniversary (birthday) with other Marines.

Several OH-2 and OH-1 members posed for a group shot of Ohio Women Marines with conference guest speaker, pilot Capt Vernice Armour, during the Ohio Women Veterans Conference in Columbus on April 4, 2009.

Our youngest and oldest Marines present (as tradition dictates) enjoy the first piece of cake. Tough duty for Jenny and Elva! Elva takes the first bite.

Everywhere they go people want to know who they are so we tell them: they're the girls from OH-2 you've heard so much about! (Donna and Diane at the spring 2009 meeting.)
